EdTech Strategy Consulting

This service is designed for leadership teams managing the transition from grant-funded development to institutional permanence, or those preparing to launch new digital initiatives in a competitive market. We provide the technical expertise and strategic framework necessary to move beyond immediate technological needs toward a disciplined, mission-centric approach to digital expansion.

We help leadership teams navigate three primary transition points that determine the long-term viability of an online program:

  • The Investment Crossroads: We provide a neutral, expert perspective on major platform shifts (LMS, AI, or CRM). We move beyond the sales pitch to help you discern which tools align with your mission and—critically—your institution's actual human capacity to maintain them as you scale.

  • The Sustainability Crossroads: For maturing grant-funded programs, we move from the initial funding phase toward long-term institutional health. We audit your existing workflows to ensure your online presence is built on a foundation of administrative and technical rigor that remains sustainable well after the grant period ends.

  • The Mission Crossroads: We ensure your digital architecture enhances your school’s unique theological identity. Our process ensures technology serves your pedagogy, preventing a "one-size-fits-all" approach that forces faculty to compromise their teaching to fit the limitations of generic software.

**Choose the EdTech Optimization Audit to refine and streamline your current digital tools; choose EdTech Strategy Consulting to design the roadmap for a new program launch or a major technological pivot.

  • This consulting service moves your leadership team through a structured discernment process to produce an actionable roadmap:

    • The Vision & Program Logic: We facilitate a deep-dive conversation to identify the unique "formational" goals of your new or evolving online program. We listen to the vision first so the technology serves the mission.

    • The Feasibility & Scalability Review: We stress-test your proposed digital steps against institutional reality. We evaluate the total cost of ownership and the practical impact on your faculty and staff workflows.

    • The Strategic Priority Presentation: Tumbuh provides a Strategic Decision Framework that synthesizes our findings into a clear roadmap. This deliverable serves as your internal "Go/No-Go" filter for future investments and sets a prioritized timeline for launch.

*Note: This specific service includes these three core sessions. Any extended support, assessments, or referrals requested after the final presentation are billed as separate consulting contracts.

  • Rather than simply comparing software features, our strategic process evaluates the critical intersections between your mission and your infrastructure. We concentrate on three key areas:

    • Investment Stress-Testing: We provide a neutral, technical perspective on potential new tools (LMS, AI, or CRM), evaluating them for institutional fit and total cost of ownership. We help you move beyond marketing promises to understand the practical reality of the investment.

    • Mission-Pedagogy Alignment: We ensure that your digital architecture supports your unique theological identity. Whether your mission emphasizes communal discernment, pastoral formation, or academic rigor, your technology should enhance—not hinder—your core call.

    • Capacity & Workflow Analysis: We assess the human cost of new technology. We analyze whether your proposed digital expansion is sustainable given your current staffing levels, or if it will create "hidden" administrative burdens for your faculty and staff.

  • While this service is most often initiated by the President, Provost, or Academic Dean, we encourage leaders to communicate with their Educational Technologists throughout the process. Their perspective is vital to ensuring the executive vision is grounded in technical realities.

This is the ideal choice for leadership teams who are about to commit significant institutional or grant funds and want to ensure those investments are disciplined, sustainable, and high-impact.
