2023 Bali Women's Odyssey

In October 2023, we are gathering global women on the island of Bali in Indonesia for a 10-day research odyssey. Using intentional friendship, participant observation, and informal ethnographic interviews, we will explore the diverse layers of resiliency among global women. What do our global sisters have to teach us about community? What do they have to show us about collective support and mutual thriving? How have they navigated uncertain times together? This guided global odyssey will serve as an informal research immersion that includes intentional homestays, meetings with NGO partners, and participation in the daily lives of women and children. No formal research training is required.
